11 STEPS
1. Note: Before follow these steps, please make sure your SharePoint says "External Sharing Allowed" on the top right section.
If it says "Internal", please reach out to Helpdesk to get this setting updated.

2. Click on the Share icon next to the file you're intending to share.
Note: If you're sharing multiple files, you need to create a separate folder, moves all these files in that folder, and share the folder with your client.

3. Then you will receive this pop up
Enter the email address or email addresses you're intending to share the files or folders with.

4. Click on the eye icon to share permission levels you want to set for this file or folder.

5. Click to set the permission:
- Can edit: full access to make changes to this file or folder.
- Can view: the other end can only have view access to the shared file but allowed to download
- Can't download: they can view but not allowed to download.

6. If you wish to include any message with this shared file, you can enter it here

7. Essentially, you can set an expiration date for this shared file. Here is how:
- Click on the gear icon

8. Click Set expiration date (MM/DD/YYYY)

9. Pick the expiration date then click Apply once you're done setting up the expiration date

10. This will take you back to the original pop up.
Once you're finishing set up permission and set the expiration date (optional), click Send to send the file.

11. That's it. You're done.
